Transformation runs six Food Bank sessions across three venues in Camborne and Redruth, along with four Community Hubs that serve as welcoming spaces for those in need. These hubs connect individuals with essential services, provide access to professional support and offer a place to relax with refreshments.
Recognising that food insecurity is often linked to other challenges, we take a comprehensive approach to support. Our services extend beyond emergency food aid to include debt counselling, crisis funding, nutritional guidance, and parenting courses, empowering people to build more stable and independent lives.
In collaboration with service providers, our Community Hubs foster a sense of connection and support. Volunteers create a warm and friendly environment where people can seek advice, share concerns, and enjoy a hot drink - because sometimes, a listening ear can make all the difference.
Our Community Health and Wellbeing Workers (CHWWs) provide tailored household support, promoting health and well-being through lifestyle advice, basic health education, and guidance on breastfeeding, immunisation, and screening. They also help families navigate systems, access community services, and address factors affecting health.
