Donating to Transformation

Your support makes a real difference to families and individuals in our community who are struggling to afford the essentials. The cost-of-living crisis has led to more people turning to the food bank for the first time, while donations have decreased as many face financial challenges. We urgently need your help to ensure we can provide essential items for those in need.

If you prefer to donate money or set up a regular contribution, you can do so through our ongoing Crowdfunder page.

To meet demand in 2024 we spent £80,000 to purchase items that we were short of.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps us ensure no one in our community goes without the essentials.

Transformation Food Banks Canning Project

At Transformation Food Banks & Community Hubs, we are committed to improving food security in Cornwall. In 2024 alone, we provided over 134,320 meals to families and individuals in need. Despite the generosity of our community, who donate food at collection points across Camborne, Pool and Redruth, we still have to purchase food to make up the shortfall - spending £80,000 on nutrient and protein-rich food in 2024 alone. To continue this vital work and reduce food costs, we’re launching Cornwall’s first food bank-led canning venture in 2025.

With your support, we aim to raise £25,000 to fund this initiative, enabling us to reduce food purchasing costs significantly, provide nutrient and protein-rich tinned meals for our service users and offer these meals to other food banks, food larders and food cupboards across Cornwall at a reduced rate, amplifying the community impact.
