Leave A Gift In Your Will

Would you like to leave our community a lasting legacy?

While it’s a difficult thing to talk or think about, none of us will live forever and, if you’re sorting out a will, you may like to consider leaving something for the people in need in Camborne, Pool and Redruth. Giving us a legacy is a direct and lasting way to help community members in the future.

After seeing to the needs of family, many people spare a thought for a charity or cause that means a lot to them.

It’s easy to gift something in your will to our charity

Here are a few pointers to get you started:

Decide what type of gift you want to give.

This can be pecuniary (a set sum of money), specific (an item or asset, e.g. property or shares), residuary (part or all of the estate after any pecuniary legacies have been paid), or reversionary (what remains of an estate after the death of a surviving spouse).

Speak to your family and to your lawyer or financial adviser.

It’s quite easy to set up or change an existing will but it’s important to make sure you do everything correctly.

What information is needed?

If you’d like to leave us something, you will need to include our details in your will. We are Transformation CPR, 8 Chi Tevyans TR15 3FY (charity number 1146238).

Did you know that...?

You’re not required to let the charity know that you’re leaving a gift in your will, but we’d be delighted if you did!
More than one cause or charity can be included in your will.
Anything given in a will won’t be affected by inheritance tax. Leaving a legacy gift also means paying less tax on the rest of the estate.
