Community Hub

New Warm Hub Launch at St. Andrew's – Join Us!

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new hub at St. Andrew’s on Monday, November 4th!

With church funding for the previous warm hub ending, Transformation CPR is stepping in to keep this vital community space open. We’ll be providing hot breakfasts 8:30am-10am, alongside our food bank, which will be open from 10am-12pm.

This warm, welcoming space will also host regular visits from professionals offering advice, support and guidance on a range of topics, including energy bills, healthy living, mental health, blood pressure checks and much more. Join us at St. Andrew’s and take advantage of the resources and support we have available to help you navigate life’s challenges.

Volunteer Voices

A huge Thank You to our volunteers who recently attended an Advice First Aid training event organised by Citizens Advice Cornwall.

This new initiative will be of immense benefit to our food bank community. By having trained Advice First Aiders on-site, our volunteers can offer immediate support and help service users take the first steps toward long-term support, making a meaningful difference to those facing challenging times.

Thank you to our volunteers for your commitment and dedication!

Inside Transformation

We have introduced neurodivergent training for some of our staff, with a view to rolling out to the broader team, which means our Community Health & Wellbeing Workers (CHWWs) can better understand neurodivergent experiences.

CHWWs have also completed Train-the-Trainer Oral Health sessions to advise on age-appropriate care and connect families to dental services.

Beyond training, they actively engage the community through Men’s Breakfasts at Tyacks, coffee & cake mornings at Coastline and LiveWest housing and local events - strengthening connections and support across Camborne, Pool and Redruth.
